I only popped into Trout Cottage to ask for help with something.... one step in the door and I was in love!

A few hours by the river along with some serendipity, life took a magical turn which led to me becoming the owner of this beautiful home. Until I retire, I want to share Trout Cottage with holidaymakers so others can experience this magic!

I have set Trout Cottage up as the holiday home I would want to stay in: to be your home from home

• Cleanliness and quality is paramount and the cottage is spacious and well equipped

• The open fire and central heating keeps the cottage snug in the colder months and it's cool enough in the summer not to need air con

• All our bedding and towels are provided, the duvets are clean and warm 

• We recycle and avoid using plastics where possible

• We use natural cleaning products and do all we can to reduce our carbon footprint

Your holiday is in safe hands:

• Changeovers are managed by an experienced housekeeper

• There is a key safe for you to self check in and out with a code and I leave you undisturbed to enjoy your time here

• Should a particular need arise, you can phone me directly   
  
  

You have sole use of the whole cottage, back yard and the riverside garden on the other side of the road

• There is a an area for bikes and free street parking 

• The kitchen is modern and open-planned, fully equipped with hopefully all the things should you want to cook 

• The games room has a table top pool table, there's ping pong, board games, jig saws and books

• The cottage has free wifi quite strong downstairs, less so upstairs, so you'll be able to keep in touch with the outside world if you want
